This song has apparently caught the worlds imagination, the fastest selling single, it sold out of its first issue in two days. This song continues to be sought after and while it also keeps getting taken off you tube, hits around the world on various places tend amount to tens of thousands a week. As it is now 6 years past, you can see what an effect it has had on listeners. |

I actually quite like Guy Sebastian, a real talent. This song is embarassing, excruciatingly bad, among the worst lyrics I've heard. He's still struggling to live it down. |

At first it was cringeworthy, sounded like some sort of disney ballad. But over the years i've accepted it as being average. |

As a coronation ballad it is quite good. Not the best coronation song for Australian Idol or the Idol franchise, but still listenable. To be honest, the winner's song could have been farts over a thumping bass track and it would have sold in the thousands. My main issue with the song is Guy's whiny vocals, which have no emotional depth to the them, which forces me to deduct 1 star from its overall rating. |

Probably still my favourite from him because I didn't follow much of his music after this. This was a real 'victorious' song at the time, it was so good that Guy won, my favourite :) The only Idol I was ever interested in.
