*****
In some ways this is their best album. Their first is probably what I'll always call my favourite, just because of the ridiculously amazing quartet of Talk You Down, The Man Who Can't Be Moved, Breakeven and Before The Worst, while the next two albums each only have one song in that league: Nothing and Six Degrees Of Separation.

But what I'm finding is that with each album the other songs are more and more solid and help to create a better album as a whole. Science & Faith was a better listen than their debut as a whole, which, while still good, kind of fell away after the first half. Science & Faith was better able to keep it going. And #3 is better at that again, so while there are less outstanding tracks, there are also less than aren't really up to scratch.

But then, I'll pretty much enjoy any Script song so far, I don't think they've released one I dislike. Perhaps for me though, they're becoming less of a singles artist and more of an albums artist.

Und dann hätten wir auch noch "If You Could See Me Now".

Raps mitmischen. Mal ganz abgesehen von Will I Am.

Durchschnitt: 3,8

geiles Alternative Rock / Soft-Rock / Pop-Rock Album :D klare highlights sind Hall of Fame, If You Could See Me Now, Six Degrees of Separation, und Millionaires :)

Funny what a couple of Bonus Tracks can do to an album. My favourite songs on the album were the bonus tracks (along with the single 'If You Could See Me Now'). I don't know what drove me to buy this album, since with The Script I only generally like few of their songs, and hate just as many. But all up this album wasn't as bad as I thought. Yes it still has the irritating accents and that bad bad rapping, but the songs that omit both of these are actually quite decent. Hall Of Fame and Give The Love Around deserve to be thrown into the toilet, but the rest sit between decent and good so all up it's a good listen.

Album without bonus tracks : 3.45
Album with bonus tracks: 3.7
